Nancy Robinson is a full-time artist residing in Spring Lake, New Jersey. Nancy is a realist painter, aiming to represent the effect of light and shadow on her subjects, rather than simply reproduce the scenes as viewed. Nancy paints to capture memories, record the character of light, the fall of shadows, and the nature of forms. Painting is her emotional response to what she sees, and she hopes to invoke a similar response in those who view her work.
